The Liberty Sertoma Club recently marked an incredible milestone, celebrating 40 years of service, friendship, and philanthropy during a special anniversary gathering in Pensacola on July 10. The evening featured heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music, and plenty of memories as charter members, past presidents, current members, and supporters came together to honor four decades of making a difference in the community.
Founded in 1986, Liberty Sertoma made history as the very first all-ladies Sertoma Club. Today, it remains one of only three all-female Sertoma clubs internationally, a distinction that reflects both its unique legacy and enduring commitment to service.
Throughout the evening, guests reminisced about the organization’s early days while celebrating the countless lives touched through its philanthropic efforts. Over the past 40 years, Liberty Sertoma has supported scholarships, educational initiatives, community programs, and numerous local nonprofit organizations, leaving a lasting impact across the Pensacola area.
The celebration was as much about looking forward as it was about reflecting on the past. Surrounded by longtime friends and dedicated volunteers, attendees celebrated the spirit of service that has defined Liberty Sertoma since its founding. Forty years later, the club continues to prove that when passionate women come together with a heart for serving others, they create a legacy that strengthens an entire community.
