On Thursday, October 19th, the Escambia County Healthy Start Coalition hosts its annual fundraising
event, Bowties and Tiaras, at Jackson’s Steakhouse in Downtown Pensacola. The Coalition invites
sponsors and their guests to wear their sharpest bowties and shiniest tiaras to join the Board of
Directors to learn more about our vital programs serving local mothers, infants, and children.

Proceeds from Bowties and Tiaras directly support our most critical programs that provide essential
items such as portable cribettes for safe sleep spaces, car seats, and strollers for caregivers that do
not have other means of transportation. Proceeds also support replenishment of our “Stork Stock”,
Healthy Start’s inventory of must-have items such as diapers, wipes, formula, blood pressure
monitoring cuffs, and more. Bowties and Tiaras takes place on Thursday, October 19th at 5:30pm at
Jackson’s Steakhouse. A limited number of tickets are available for sale. Please contact Healthy Start
