The Escambia County Healthy Start Coalition and Florida Department of Health in Escambia County are partnering with various organizations to host another Community Baby Shower, this time in Pensacola. This is an event designed to serve families in the major Pensacola Metro area and surrounding communities. It will be a free event, inviting parents who are expecting or have recently had a baby, their partners and their families.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, inside the Fricker Community Center at 900 N F Street from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

This community baby shower will provide much-needed items like baby clothes and supplies, and other useful gear in addition to communication with family support organizations. Caregivers attending this event will learn the basics of keeping themselves and their babies healthy. They will enjoy educational speakers, demonstrations, refreshments, and door prizes. These items are available while supplies last.

This year’s event will be packed with local organizations including the Florida Department of Health, Ascension Sacred Heart, Community Health Northwest Florida, Studer Community Institute, Baptist Health Care and much more.
