Members of the Krewe of Hip Huggers came together for quite the party at Vinyl Music Hall on January 17. Entering the B Side Bar and making a journey through a disco tunnel, the guests were transported into the ultimate party.
This was no ordinary get-together. The krewe members went all out, dressing in their best themed go-go attire. The women were absolutely stunning in their sparkles, vinyl mini dresses, thick headbands, chunky jewelry, and of course… their iconic knee-high go-go boots. The men didn’t fail to impress either. From their wide bell-bottom jeans to their open collars and geometric print threads, they were outta sight.
The venue was lined with awesome photo shoot opportunities, including a photobooth upstairs for special light photos, and the chance to be photographed with dancers dressed as disco balls. The live band, Fly By Radio, a female-fronted premier rock n’ roll band, specializing in corporate events, weddings, and big parties…was absolutely fab. They went all out with 60’s themed music, the crowd roared and danced until the clock struck 12.
The krewe members boogied until their go-go boots fell off. They left the night through the disco tunnel portal and will look back on their night with nothing but memories of good dancing, laughter, and smiles.
