You are invited to the 2024 Rotary Club of Gulf Breeze Gumbo Cook-Off on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gulf Breeze Recreation Center. This outdoor event will host approximately 20 gumbo cooking teams competing in professional or amateur divisions and for the People’s Choice award. The event features unlimited gumbo samples, music, drinks, a silent auction, raffles for a grill and paddle board, and the opportunity to vote for the crowd’s favorite gumbo.

Cooking team registration is open for private groups and restaurant teams looking to compete for the best gumbo. Over 1,800 people attended the event last year with more attendees anticipated this year. There are also many sponsorship and volunteer opportunities.

Gumbo lovers can purchase advance tickets for $20 online or from a Rotary Club of Gulf Breeze Rotary member. Tickets will also be available at the event for $30. Kids 10 years old and younger are free.
The Gumbo Cook-Off is the primary fundraiser for the Gulf Breeze Rotary College Scholarship program. The club has awarded more than $850,000 to deserving Gulf Breeze students throughout the past two decades.
