A Pensacola Runners Association Event, this is one of the premier destination road races in the Southeast and the perfect way to kick off your New Year Resolution. It’s for both runners and walkers and takes participants along this city’s scenic waterfront along paved roads between the Gulf of Mexico and the Santa Rosa Sound. The event features a half marathon and a “pick your distance” 10k/5k, meaning participants do not have to decide whether to run the 10k or the 5k until they are out on the course!

Double Bridge Run

Quickly becoming one of the premier 15K (9.3 miles) races in the country, the Double Bridge Run Presented by Publix gives runners a full view of our great area. Beginning in downtown Pensacola at the Vince Whibbs Community Maritime Park, the 15K winds through historic Pensacola, over the 3-mile bridge spanning Escambia Bay, through Gulf Breeze, over the Bob Sikes Bridge and the Intercostal Waterway, and finishing at the Pensacola Beach boardwalk! The race also features a 5K (3.1 miles) race which begins in Gulf Breeze, runs over the Bob Sikes Bridge and uses the same finish line on the beach. This will be the last event on the bridge!
