The Big Gala: Little Boots, Big Dreams took place on February 28 at The Sanctuary Event Venue. Hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, this signature fundraising event transformed the historic venue—once the Sacred Heart Church built in 1905—into a dazzling western-glam wonderland. The event offered an unforgettable night of elegance, entertainment, and philanthropy.

Presented by D.R. Horton Homes, the gala embraced a “Little Boots, Big Dreams” Western theme, celebrating the power of mentorship to help local children achieve their aspirations. Attendees donned cowboy-chic attire, enjoying a gourmet dinner, signature cocktails, live entertainment, exciting surprises, and dancing into the night. All proceeds directly supported BBBSNWFL’s mission to provide one-to-one mentoring relationships for youth facing adversity in Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa counties.

The Sanctuary’s stunning architecture—vaulted ceilings, arched windows, and elegant interiors—provided the perfect backdrop for the sold-out gathering. Highlights included heartfelt tributes to “Bigs” and “Littles,” live auctions featuring unique experiences, and performances that captured the spirit of Western glamour while underscoring the event’s deeper purpose: changing lives through mentorship.

BBBSNWFL emphasized the gala’s impact, noting that every ticket and sponsorship dollar fuels mentoring programs that build confidence, resilience, and brighter futures for children. Sponsors, including title partner D.R. Horton Homes, helped make the evening possible, with additional support from community businesses and individuals.

The 2026 Big Gala reinforced Pensacola’s strong tradition of giving back, proving that with big dreams and dedicated support, local kids can achieve anything. BBBSNWFL looks forward to continued growth and even greater impact in the years ahead.
