What is your hometown?

I grew up in Cumming, Georgia, but Pensacola is HOME! I have been in the panhandle for over 20 years and in Pensacola for over 15 of those years. I’ve been an Ice Flyers fan (former Pilots) ALL 20+ of those years!

What is your profession?

I am a biographic cartographer; I make extremely intricate maps for people’s lives. It’s also a fancy way of saying that I’m a financial advisor. As a man of faith, I truly believe this path was chosen for me. In college I was correlating the Farmer’s Almanac with the stock market with an 80% accuracy. But finance wasn’t the passion; people were. I wanted to invest in people; I wanted to send kids to college and help the single mothers out there that were like my mother. I WISH someone had invested in a family like mine, that didn’t have the stewardship or knowledge to get ahead.

I was pursuing a master’s degree in divinity at Harvard when my best friend from Otwell Middle School called me and said, “I think it’s time you become a financial advisor.” I finally said yes. I haven’t worked a day yet, and I have served God and mankind through financial advising ever since.

What are some of your favorite things about Pensacola?

Pensacola is a big, small town. There is something for everyone. It is a great place to raise a family; it is a place with community. And did I mention a killer hockey team?

Three words that best describe you.

Authentic. Benevolent. Felicific.

Favorite place for going out?

You can always catch me at Ride Society spinning with Chris Cobb and crew, Ice Flyers hockey, and Gallery Night. As for food, Lamonte Gelato and Amano Panino. I am one of the originals at George Bistro. And lastly, Bonelli’s Italian, who makes any occasion a special one!

What is one thing that you do not go a day without?

My faith.

Finish this statement, I AM PENSACOLA because…

This is where my roots know the ground, where joy feels familiar, and where belonging isn’t something I search for — it’s something I live.
